Kick Off Meeting Summary
The kick off meeting of the partners in the “Digital Transformation of Higher Education and Training” project (DigiTransformEdu) took place on 29-30 November 2021.
The first day of kick off meeting started by a welcoming speech on behalf on the Digital National Alliance (DNA). Following that every partner had prepared a PowerPoint presentation lasting for up to 15 minutes summarizing their organization’s role and mission. Afterwards, the Digital National Alliance presented The DigiTransformEdu logo – 6 proposals put to a vote by all parties. NBU, in the face of Boriana Marinova, outlined the DigiTransformEdu structure: organization of the project results and activities, timing, and partners’ roles. The meeting was concluded by a round table: What is the digital readiness of your institutions? How is your institution responding to the digital transformation?
The second day of the kick off meeting began by a summary of the previous day and an outline of the agenda. Firstly, MUAS gave out a presentation focusing on mapping the digital readiness and of HEIs in response to the COVID-19 crisis: governance and enabling services. Following it NBU presented the mapping the digital readiness and resilience of HEIs in response to the COVID-19 crisis: teaching and learning practices and infrastructure. Institute Algebra introduced concepts, case studies, best practices, and blueprint for the strategical approach to digitalization. Next, FGB gave a presentation on the blueprint for the digitalization of pedagogy. GP and ESI CEE indicated the different roles of the digital educator. Subsequently, ANT presented training materials for the digital educator. Afterwards EFMD outlined the DigiTransformEdu project quality assurance. After a quick break, DNA presented a project and contractual management including the Grant Agreement, Partners agreements and Project Management Manual. DNA announced the DigiTransformEdu project logo, project website and dissemination strategy. At the end next steps were defined and the meeting was closed.
